Is it worth it? You bet, we went during October and stayed at a cabin in Orland Maine. Nothing like driving through Maine or any New England state or town during the fall. Acadia National Park is probably my favorite out of all the places I have been. So much to do and so much to see, spent an entire day just walking around the awesome looking shore with the giant boulders and Maine water.
